Dish Receivers

Reset your receiver by pressing and holding the Front Panel Power button on your satellite receiver for 10 seconds. Your receiver will reset and return to normal within a few minutes.
Check that your TV is set to channel 3 or 4. If your remote is identified by a blue number 2, also try channel 60 or 73.
Make sure the receiver is continuously connected to a working phone line.
Watch for the low battery indicator on your TV screen and be sure to replace the batteries in your remote control as necessary.
Check for anything that may be blocking your satellite signal (tree branches, snow, etc).
